Nick Jacobsen took a quick break from his chaotic schedule of traveling the world. Between Maui, California, Mauritius and Zanzibar and Europe in the last month, he took a break and booked a ticket to Cape Town to hang with the Dirty Habits crew and see what Cape Town was like in the winter time. Well it couldn’t have been a better week, with The South Easter pumping, the surf cooking and some of the local riders enjoying the Town to themselves. This Video was the outcome.
Over the past two weeks with no wind during the Red Bull King of the Air waiting period, Dirty Habits spent a lot of time getting up to no-good with the King of the Air riders. Including DJ’ing and Drone flying with Ruben Lenten and Kevin Langeree, paintball gun ambush at the WOO house with Jesse Richman, Tom Hebert and Sam Medysky, Braaing and ‘training’ with Sam Light, kiting and crashes with Lewis Crathern and naked roof jumping with Nick Jacobsen and Graham Howes

Well in case you missed the boat. This is how The Crew at Dirty Habits does summer.
Amongst the Chaos this summer and all the international legends visiting The Dirty Habits crib, including Nitro Circus’ Erik Roner, Wake legends Shawn Watson and Kevin Henshaw, World champ freestyle paraglider Marvin Ogger, extreme kiters Ruben Lenten, Robbie Naish… we also had had Freeride Project and Riplslix Productions founder Tom Court spend the summer with us along with Crane jumper, Nick Jacobsen. Between the 3 boys including Mr. Dirty Habits Graham Howes, 3 very different projects began to merge into one common idea, The quest for epicness. and although the lines are still blurred between our different lives existing at other parts of the world, one thing remains certain. we sure as hell are having a good time. Here is the evidence. the teaser… just the tip of the iceburg.

Nick Jacobsen just cracked an invite to possibly the best place on earth. Along with 2x world champ Youri Zoon, Nitro City in Panama is the ultimate fun park resort where everything and anything is possible. And who better to put that to the test, but Nick himself. He was invited for 2 weeks, but seems to be finding it hard to leave and has extended his trip for another 2 weeks. This is what he sends us this morning.. thanks Nick.. like we’re not jealous enough..

Youri Zoon and myself got invited to Nitro City in Panama for a week, to do some kite clinics. We have both been here before, so we were looking forward to go there again.
We had a warm welcome by the Nitro crew. Apparently I got my own ”Nick Jacobsen Pro Room” with an old board of mine and some photos hanging on the wall. Everyone here are super nice and helpful. You can pretty much do whatever you feel like doing. There is a 2.0 system cable, quad bikes, lagoon, gym, jetskies, skydive, skatepark, motocross track.
In this place its only your creativity that sets the limit. Its pretty much paradise in my opinion. There are always so much to do. After the first week had past, I couldn’t move my legs anymore, from all these activities. Youri had to go for the 1st stop of the world tour, and I decided to stay for another 2 weeks. Now we are busy filming a promo for my new beer sponsor DONN.
A normal day at Nitro City:
Wake up at around 8am. Check the wind. If there is no wind, I hit the cable for an hour. Then breakfast. The wind normally pics up at around 11am. Kite for a few hours, chill/kite on the pool. Then I hit the cable again. There is a sweet motocross track. They have some really nice quadbikes, which are a lot of fun to play around on. Then its internet time. We have perfect internet in our rooms. After that, there are still 1000 of things to do. Cant even describe how insane this place is.
On-site skate park, pit-bike track, wakeboard cable park, fitness gym and kite beach.
Nearby surf, skydiving, scuba, fishing and jungle wakeboard tours also available.

Nick Jacobsen just released his new movie, shortly after jumping off the 40m crane in Cape Town! This video is almost more shocking than the crane jump itself!
We (Dirty Habits) have been lucky enough to join Nick and Louis (Lupah Films) during this amzing journey of filming this, ‘1 of a kind’ movie! It has been an experience above any other, and totally mind blowing being around 2 people so amazing and passionate about what they do! Watch it! it’s truly inspiring!

Big Bay Freeride Session With 3 of the best kiters in the world
If anyone was at Kiting at Big Bay, Cape Town yesterday it was quite possible to confuse a free-riding session for a PKRA World final. With 2009 World champion, Kevin Langeree, 2011 World champ, Youri Zoon, and Nick Jacobsen (Danish Champion & The craziest mofo kiter in the world!) all shredding it to the max. We escaped the crowds and headed to Small Bay for some fun freeriding, I’ve had the privilege of riding with all 3 of these guys in locations all around the world, but when you put the 3 of them together, without any titles on the line, the energy and comradery on the water between these guys is unreal. Check it out for yourselves,
And Next time you find yourself moaning about our CT conditions, remember that the worlds finest choose Cape Town as their training grounds!
So Nick Jacobsen is back in Cape Town!
Yes that crazy dude who climbed onto a ship with his kite and board, climbed up an industrial 40m high crane, whilst still flying his kite, put his board on his feet and boosted off of it, and thew in some loops on the way down… is back in CT for more action!
This time he has LUPAH Films with him to catch all the action! Dirty Habits has been hanging out with Nick and Louis from LUPAH films since their arrival, and trying to keep up with their crazy plans for their next 6 months in the Mother City!
Nick will be filming for his sponsors, Liquid Force, Brunotti, Pro Limit and Betsafe the video’s will also feature LF and Brunotti team rider, Graham Howes. There are some big plans and stunts coming up from Nick this summer and i can help but notice Nick eying out that rusty crane every time we drive past it! But don’t worry, Crane or no crane Nick never fails to impress, he might just be on the look out for another freeway to Megaloop over! Only Time will tell!
Here is the video of his Nicks crane jump last summer
And of course the road Nick megalooped over in Denmark a few years back!
Here is a commercial nick did with LUPAH films, using their remote controlled airplane to film it! Pretty sick!
